A bit of near-shoring in action. Foxconn has been in talks with various US states about building manufacturing facilities. Some six states have contacted the Taiwanese Apple supplier to convince it to build in their jurisdictions, reports Bloomberg. Foxconn has already announced plans to spend $30m in Pennsylvania.
