Italy’s competition watchdog is investigating Amazon for alleged anti-competitive behaviour. The Local is reporting that the investigation was opened yesterday following claims the e-commerce giant had been giving preferential exposure to vendors that subscribed to its logistics services, which, the watchdog said, would have allowed Amazon to profit “unfairly from its dominant position”.
