UK haulage firm Eddie Stobart has acquired The Pallet Network (TPN), a pallet distribution service for  the UK and Ireland comprising 106 regional haulier members and 123 depots, in a deal worth up to £52.8m, on a cash and debt-free basis. TPN was founded in 2000 and Eddie Stobart plans to partner with its members to offer local services, and final-mile pallet solutions. Eddie Stobart bought 100% of TPM from Paris’ institutional backer LDC, the private  equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, SHD Logistics ...
