    Pirates are not predatory or prevalent? I’m not sure how you figure that out. They are no longer endemic off the coast of Somalia, but piracy is flourishing off West Africa and starting again in the Malacca straits.

      Rose, WADR, the piracy in the Malacca Straits and GoG are nothing like the GoA/IO events and, while ships may be attacked, they are not held and the crew are rarely held. In legal terms, the GoG and Malacca events are actually robbery, not piracy.

    A nice and fun way to bring awareness about the shipping industry and what’s behind what we take for granted day in and out. Amazing when you think that even those who routinely import and export do not imagine what lies behind a booking and BL ! Not too accurate, agreed, but it makes you smile.
