So the news that Walmart is to take Amazon Prime head on has of course triggered speculation about whether it will follow the ecommerce giant’s lead in transport, and air freight in particular. Walmart Plus, a subscription service akin to Prime, is set to launch this month, and could undercut Amazon on price while offering similar membership perks.
