Really? Yep, really! An internal audit has revealed that more than 1,000 employees of Mombasa Port Authority, the key East African gateway port, have been found to hold fake or non-existent academic qualifications. The investigation, led by Kenya Ports Authority’s HR department, has already led to the sacking of some 132 workers, including 25 managers, and one suspects that more are soon to follow.
