Paul Dyer to take the reins at DHL Supply Chain UK as Perry Watts announces retirement

DHL veteran Perry Watts has announced his retirement as chief executive of DHL Supply Chain in the UK and Ireland, and is set to be replaced by Paul Dyer (pictured).

Mr Dyer, who will leave his post as the firm’s president of global automotive, will succeed Mr Watts on 1 January.

Mr Watts joined DHL in 1995 and has held key account management positions and served as managing director of non-food and food retail before being appointed chief executive of Supply Chain in 2008.

During a 2014 senior management restructure of DHL Supply China, he was one of the few executives to retain his position, joining the company’s supply chain global board to oversee the company’s position as the UK’s largest contract logistics provider.
