Mumbai, May 29, 2015: Kale Logistics Solutions-a leading global IT provider to the Logistics, Airports and Transportation segments, today announced that it has added another milestone to its many firsts by successfully helping two large European carriers achieve 100% EDI through its proven community platforms- UPLIFT & GMAX.
UPLIFT and GMAX are both first of their kind community platforms in India incorporating features for the benefit of each and every stakeholder involved in the movement of air cargo. The two online platforms enable digital information transmission between carrier, exporter/importer (forwarder), Airport cargo ground handler, customs, chambers of commerce, transporters and government authorities. GMAX and UPLIFT are the answers to the problem of increasing EDI penetration worldwide and they are currently helping forwarders and carriers in India to exchange electronic Air Way Bills (e-AWB) successfully. They have contributed in catapulting India in top 10 e-AWB countries in the world.
