American Airlines Cargo has appointed Jessica Tyler as its new vice president for strategy and development.
Ms Tyler’s appointment is a promotion from her position leading the digital transformation strategy, although she will continue her work on this front alongside new duties.
She joined the carrier from Gallup in 2012, with responsibility for merging the cargo divisions of AA and US Airways and has since held several other roles.
President of American Airlines Cargo Rick Elieson said her experience would be “invaluable” to the team.
“Jessica will have the resources and support to implement our fully integrated technology platform and continue development of our product and partnership strategy,” he said. “Her extensive experience in technology integration, change management and product strategy are skills that make her invaluable to this organisation and our long-term success.”
