Bolloré Logistics has appointed Nicolas Saignat as VP airfreight, Americas to oversee the development of air freight products, competitive procurement and the digitalisation of solutions.
Mr Saignat has worked in the air transport industry for more than 20 years. Before joining Bolloré Logistics, he was the head of commercial, cargo at WestJet, the second-largest airline in Canada. Before that, he was VP for Air France-KLM in the US, managing the transatlantic joint-venture with Delta Airlines.
“I am thrilled to join the Bolloré Logistics Americas team. The significant CSR dimension in the company is a real asset for our customers. I look forward to working with our airline partners and our teams around solutions and products that are in line with our customers’ needs and our sustainability objectives.”
Mr Saignat is based in Calgary, Canada, and will report to Alexandre Yamada, VP solutions, who said: “I am certain Nicolas will strengthen our product offering . His perspective from the service provider side, combined with his in-depth knowledge of the airline industry, gives him a definite advantage.”
