Whether the decision to send in the heavies was a deliberate act of totalitarian vandalism (“Imagine a boot stamping on a human face – forever”, wrote George Orwell in 1984) by some psychopathic executive, or it’s just a massive HR cock-up, the whole episode has done serious harm to the DP World brand in the UK.
