American Airlines Group reported positive year-over-year traffic growth in 2013 for both American Airlines Cargo and US Airways Cargo. American’s cargo volumes in December 2013 were up nearly 13% versus the same period last year. American’s year-to-date cargo traffic was up 4.3% versus December 2012. US Airways’ year-to-date cargo traffic in December 2013 was up 7.5% versus the same period last year. Both continue to outperform major US competitors in year-to-date cargo traffic.
