Cargo revenue at American Airlines fell 16.8% in the quarter ending March 31, to $162m, while cargo ton miles fell by 1.8%. Yield per ton mile fell 15.3% to 29.77 cents. Overall, the group saw net profit fall nearly 25% to $700m, with a 4% fall in revenues. The airline said it was disappointed and that the revenues were not acceptable.
