It makes sense in a country with challenging infrastructure, especially in remote rural areas. But, along with many other countries, drones are not allowed in India. The government banned them in October after private companies, including a pizza shop in Mumbai, began to experiment with them. Flipkart hopes to convince the government to allow them in rural areas.
