Basic Element Group, one of Russia’s leading diversified business groups, is pleased to announce the completion of construction of the Imeretinskiy cargo port in Sochi. The port’s capacity is 5 million tonnes of cargo per year. The port’s docks are up to 9.2 meters deep. Investment in the port construction amounted to USD 200 million (RUR 6 billion). The project was carried out by Transstroy, a part of Basic Element and Russia’s leading transport and infrastructure construction company.
