Pity then, the poor guys employed as part of the growing legion of delivery drivers to support the explosive growth in e-commerce sales, and who more often than not are distributing goods on mopeds, which are quickest at navigating the crowded thoroughfares. And mostly, they are bent double like mountain sherpas from heavily loaded backpacks often weighing more than they do. “Sometimes people order dumbbells, and then the bag gets really heavy,” one said.
