Amazon slapped by fine over leaking hazmat shipment

Yet again the delivery of dangerous goods comes under the spotlight after Amazon – which should know better – was fined $91,000 for shipping flammable liquid adhesive without the right paperwork. The FAA also noted that it had “failed to properly train its employees”. The shipment flew via FedEx, which spotted that the shipment was leaking when it arrived at its destination.
