After a long and frustrating period of uncertainty, the EU seems finally to have made up its mind  – for now – about the Emissions Trading Scheme. Long-haul airlines will be delighted to know that the European Parliament decided yesterday that only intra-EU flights would be affected – until 2016, when ICAO is tasked with revealing its global scheme.
