It was a sad day, but yesterday Boeing’s last ever 747 left its factory in Everett, Washington, some 52 years after the first commercial “jumbo jet” was built. The 1,574th ’Queen of the Skies’, a 747-8F to be named Empower, is destined for Atlas Air – and then will carry cargo for Kuehne + Nagel. The Air Current has the story and pics…
