The sense in moving business towards emerging markets is confirmed by this article, which shows that India’s automotive market will become the third largest by 2016, overtaking Germany, Brazil and Japan. Currently sixth, India will also become the fourth largest producer of cars by 2020. Despite this forecast, however, currently India’s car sales are continuing to fall, and production has been cut.
