jota BAe146

Jota Aviation, the award-winning UK charter airline, has grounded its fleet and shut up shop, according to Simple Flying. While there is no record of insolvency proceedings as yet, Companies House documents show that its accounts are overdue and that it has struggled following Brexit, which caused it to lose a cargo contract, it claimed in accounts. Its passenger business was based on flying sports teams around Europe, which was badly hit by the pandemic. It also operated three BAe146-300QTs, which are now being offered to lease.
