Toll Group – resembling a tragicomedy

Happily, this morning’s freighter crash in Solomon Islands, led to no casualties. The 737-300 freighter crashed while trying to land after losing its right side undercarriage. The aircraft was operated by Toll Group, and was registered in New Zealand. The aircraft was loaded with 13 tonnes of cargo and an operation is under way to remove it from the runway. All international flights have been cancelled.
