In this light but informative article, IFW puts its maths to the test to work out how much overcapacity there really is on the cross-Channel ferry business, as Eurotunnel makes noises about acquiring SeaFrance’s three ferries. If rail operator does so, overcapacity on the route will be eye-watering. It’s not just container lines that are struggling with too many ships.
