Managing directors of Morrison Freight claim “shock” at what they describe as a “sluggish approach” by other UK-based logistics operators when it comes to preparing for Brexit. The Suffolk-based operator’s head honchos, Darren Ryan and Lee Steward, told the East Anglian Daily Times they wanted to be on the “front foot” for the UK’s pending departure from the European Union. So, Morrison has announced a series of measures aimed at combating whatever the outcome in March. This forward thinking, said Mr Steward, had not only helped them get ahead but had also landed the company three new clients.
