It appears to be on the front page of many European papers that three big postal companies are under investigation by French competition authorities – although interestingly not the market leader, state-owned La Poste.
Allegations dating back to 2010 concern “discussions” at trade association meetings. Very little has been said so far, although one sector analyst wonders why so much mainstream attention has been given to this story, given the number of antitrust investigations and fines in logistics in recent years.
