Brexit concerns run full-steam ahead. Research from Quinyx, quoted by Logistics Manager, claims a disorderly departure from the EU could cost the UK £6.7bn a year by 2024. The research focused on a decline in income generated by manual logistics workers, which currently stands at some £9.8bn. According to the report, the drop would be the result of a lack of access to manual workers, including drivers, packers and warehouse workers. And where would see the sharpest declines? The east and south-east of England, and the capital.
