This week seems set to be full of Airbus and Boeing stories as they battle it out at the aviation-lovers event, the Paris Air Show. This year it’s all about widebodies – the A350 and the 787. Boeing reckons there is a $1 trillion market over the next 20 years for mid-size twin-engined planes. At the same time, it admits that some of its new 747-8Fs are waiting for delivery in the desert. Don’t expect to hear too much about the freighter market this week…
