UK freight services provider Xpediator has appointed Barclays’ head of transport and logistics, Rob Riddleston, as a non-executive director.
Mr Riddleston, aged 63, will join the company 1 July. He was named division head in 2005 and has authored Barclays’ Logistics Confidence index since 2012.
Chief executive of Xpediator Stephen Blyth said: “I am very pleased to welcome Rob to the company. He is a well- known industry figure, with extensive connections across the sector which, together with his banking expertise, makes him a significant addition to our board.”
Mr Riddleston added: “This is an exciting time to be joining Xpediator as the company looks to build on the significant progress made since joining the AIM market in August last year, and I look forward to contributing towards the future growth of the business.”
