    You’ve got to be kidding me. You make no mention of starting salaries or the cost to become a pilot. $70k + for your basic ratings then starting salaries in the $20k/year. No thanks!

    You quote a man saying there’s no logical way from 250 to 1500 hours. How about flight instructing like every other civilian pilot for the last 30 years?

    Also you make no mention of the already existing cutouts for graduates of 141 programs and military. They need as few as 750 hours to fly an airliner.

    Missed a few points, have you? Hate to say it but your article is fake news!

      Thanks for your comment. The article was focusing only on the Senate proposals and the potential affect on smaller cargo airlines, rather than a full investigation into a pilot career. We appreciate your point that it could have been wider-ranging, but that does not make it fake news!
