GlobalTranz Enterprises has appointed Kirsten Castillo Hall as its new chief operating officer.
Ms Hall’s appointment follows GlobalTranz’s acquisition of Logistics Planning Services (LPS), where she was chief executive.
Ms Hall was previously LPS’s chief operating officer and has 21 years of supply chain experience, including 14 years at Imation, a data managerment firm that was spun-off of science giant 3M.
Ms Hall said joining the online freight brokerage would ensure a “seamless” transition for LPS customers and employees while enabling her to continue working for a logistics “market leader”.
Chairman of GlobalTranz Bob Farrell said Ms Hall’s experience would be “extremely valuable” for the company as it expanded its managed transportation business.
