In three months, tragic Malaysia Airlines will no longer exist – in its place, a new Malaysian airline, NewCo, will launch. With some assets, operations and employees from the former carrier, it will start under the leadership of Christophe Mueller, former CEO of Aer Lingus, who starts on May 1. The airline has been busy assessing staff . On June 1, job offers for the new company will go out – or termination letters. The turnaround plan is, apparently, “very ambitious”.
