Cargolux CEO Dirk Reich has responded to union accusations, outlined in The Loadstar, that the movement of an aircraft to Cargolux Italia’s AOC is expensive, unnecessary and a threat to Luxembourg staff. Instead, he claims that as the Italian operation has different traffic rights it needs different aircraft. The carrier also denies speculation that HNCA plans to increase its shareholding to 49%.
