American Airlines Cargo announced today it joins the elite group of carriers to sign the IATA Multilateral Electronic Air Waybill (e-AWB) Agreement, moving the airline one step closer to paperless airfreight operations. “We have been working behind the scenes on this important issue for some time, and we’re excited to see our name added to the agreement,” said Kenji Hashimoto, American’s President of Cargo. “Joining this pioneering group moves us one step closer to paperless operations, which will create more efficiencies for our customers and help minimize our impact on the environment.”
