The Vietnamese seafood industry is beating all seafood export records. The November increase in turnover was due to record shrimp sales and higher prices, and the country exported $650m worth of seafood this month alone. 2013’s final seafood export figures are now expected to exceed the target of $6.5bn and reach nearly $7bn, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters & Producers.
