Trump pulls US out of pact that discounted foreign postal deliveries

Following The Loadstar‘s recent article on China’s online cost advantage for US postage prices, Reuters has reported that the US is withdrawing from the UN pact that offers low rates for developing country postal deliveries of packages within the US. Plans to leave the Universal Postal Union (UPU) were announced last Wednesday, with a White House spokesperson stating that it created an unfair advantage over the US Postal Service.
