    Why does the title mention that forwarders and carriers are taking advantage of the VGM regulation when concrete examples are only provided for K&N and OOCL logostics?

    Why are the forwarders always the ‘whipping boys’? They are not the ones making the rules, just following them. And who is to say, they should not be compensated for the additional work they do, no matter how trivial it may seem to the shippers. We live in a global world of fees, extras, add-ons, surcharges in every aspect of business and life and we readily accept it, Why should this be any different?
