While a key CSX executive at a Wolfe Research event held yesterday in New York talked of nearly one million loaded containers* ready to be shipped from China to the US, DIY mammoth Home Depot – a major ($375bn-market-cap) sea importer on the eastbound transpacific – shared insight on ’pull-forward’, inventory and tariffs in the call with analysts that followed the release of fiscal Q1 25 numbers for the three months ended 4 May.
