Welcome back: US government legislation on shipping continued with Congress passing, and Joe Biden signing, the Ocean Shipping Reform Act.

In general, action is better than no action, but a lot of the language accompanying it appeared to betray a worrying lack of understanding of the industry. However, the law still needs a lot of clarifications so there remains room for things to develop.
