Maersk says China effort to boost spending to help shipping

An interesting article from The Washington Post about how China’s changing economic policy will benefit container shipping lines. The new leadership in Beijing wants to boost domestic consumption to help restore the economy – which ultimately will help shipping lines balance the trade better. AP Moller-Maersk chief executive Nils Smedegaard Andersen, says it “will create great opportunities”.
