Hardly the most surprising news, but the German carrier has said it is considering expanding a range of activities in Iran after signing a memorandum of understanding with Iran Air, the country’s national carrier. While the details of the MoU are said to be confidential, the partners are said to be exploring “partnership opportunities” and follows Iran Air’s January order with Airbus to buy 118 new aircraft as it returns to global air transport markets.
