February 04, 2019 at 7:47 amShippers like UPS, FedEx are at certain disadvantage when it comes competition with Amazon as they are established players and someone as big as Amazon(with loads of cash) is right at their doorstep. But surely there are other openings for UPS, FedEx which can bring them a semblance of hope. For example, partnering with third party companies like StorePep, StarShipIT, GoShippo is certainly an option as they would be able to provide a one-stop solution to store owners which would make it easy to take orders and ship them with ease along with real time tracking. With StorePep’s real time feature, the customer gets real time status updates for every checkpoint at which the shipment has reached. Hence I think, collaboration is the way for companies like UPS, FedEx if they are thinking of thwarting competition with someone like Amazon.
