A nice little scoop from Splash 247, which reports that Hapag-Lloyd is considering launching a priority loading and unloading option for shippers that, on initial inspection, appears to be similar in scope to the Eagle GO Guaranteed service APL offers customers on the Asia-Australasia and transatlantic trades. It banishes the risk of roll-overs and guarantees container availability to shippers. Hapag-Lloyd is considering a “last on, first off” option for shippers needing to get their cargo in and out of ports quickly, such as perishables.
