ECU Worldwide appoints Rene Wernli regional chief in India, ME and Africa

ECU Worldwide has appointed Rene Wernli its regional chief executive for India, the Indian subcontinent, Middle East and Africa region.

With more than 30 years’ logistics experience, Mr Wernli joins the world’s largest less-than-container load consolidator from DP World, where he served as chief operating officer for logistics. He has also served in posts at Kuehne + Nagel and Aramex.

But it was at Panalpina that his career began, spending more than 20 years with the forwarder in a variety of roles.
