Echo Global Logistics sees third-quarter earnings plunge

Although third-quarter revenues at one of North America’s fastest-growing freight and transport firms, Echo Global Logistics, was up some 40% year-one-year, net profit fell by nearly 37% as it sought to win new business in a “soft environment”. Operating cash flow, working capital and debt all rose compared with the third quarter last year.
