US freight forwarder JAS Worldwide has appointed cool chain veteran Frank Cascante (pictured above) as its new senior vice president of global sales, pharma & healthcare.
A specialist in temperature-controlled logistics for pharma and healthcare in all major markets, Cascante has “built a reputation for successful implementation of responsive and reliable international supply chains for many global customers”.
Mr Cascante spent around 20 years working in the logistics, air freight and ocean freight teams for Damco, Maersk, and DHL. However, for the past two years he has been working as Americas head of sales for temperature-controlled packaging solution provider Emball ISO.
JAS Worldwide executive vice president pharma & healthcare David Bang said: “Frank’s diverse and broad leadership, deeply rooted in the pharma & healthcare industry, makes him a perfect selection. With the clear investment path to become a quality-driven and customer-centric logistics provider, everything starts with the right people in the right culture.”
