Here comes the rain again
Asia-North America air freight is on the rise again as shippers try to get cargo out of China before next month’s new year holiday. A strong fourth quarter resulted in a slacker January, according to JOC, but the next few weeks will be busy. Cathay Pacific is also expecting a strong March. BB&T Capital Markets, meanwhile, indicated that west coast port congestion continues to give air freight a boost.
