China wants to prevent foreign companies from shipping Chinese goods

It’s big news if it happens. China is considering restricting foreign companies from shipping Chinese goods, in a temporary move to boost the domestic shipping sector. Local owners could also get tax benefits, but at the same time be forced to order only from Chinese yards, as Chinese officials scheme up new ways to support its struggling shipping sector.
