China’s new leadership, while clamping down on dissent, is also attempting to stamp out some high-level corruption. Perhaps not surprisingly, the focus has fallen onto the shipping business, with COSCO currently in the hot seat. Vice-president Xu Minjie has resigned while investigations are under way. It is thought that he is just the first of the big names to be in the spotlight.
