Air New Zealand and Garuda are facing an appeal to the legal decision which effectively let them off fines from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). The commission has appealed the court’s decision, which found that the cartel did not take place in a market in Australia. Thirteen airlines were fined in the original case, but Air New Zealand and Garuda contested the charges. Meanwhile, more fines have been dished out in South Africa. When will it end?
