It’s the silly season, and a slow news cycle (in freight, anyway), so what better time to talk to Glyn Hughes, head of IATA Cargo and purveyor of puns. ACW has done a light-hearted Q&A interview with Mr Hughes, in which we discover his love of barbeques and chocolate, and what he’d do if he could ‘turn back time’. He also reveals previous jobs at now-defunct airlines – and McDonald’s, where he spent a summer as a clown. All good experience for leading IATA Cargo, no doubt….
